DFAlib is based on RE2, available at code.google.com. This is a fork, one intended to allow for different design goals than RE2.

We wish to credit the authors of RE2 for the value it represents. This fork is a natural and friendly one, we have a slightly different mission for DFAlib than RE2.

We will be adding new features once the code base has all necessary renaming done.
