Window repeatedly loses focus...

It happens once every minute or two. My cursor briefly changes to an hourglass, and then back again, and I've lost focus and have to click back into the editor window or browser window, or whichever Dev-PHP window I happen to be in. It has happened 6 times just in the time it has taken me to write this. It really slows me down and causes mistakes... is this a known bug? Does it exist in 2.0.12?

      Hi,

      > is this a known bug ?
May be, however never heard of it.

      > Does it exist in 2.0.12 ?
As far as i know, it doesn't.

Could you easily reproduce that ?
In order for us to reproduce that bug afterwards, Urs is right : it's useful to know a bit more about the 'guilty' version ;)

      Best regards,
      Pierre.

I have 2.0.13 build 243 based on the name of the file that I downloaded. It seems that I am able to hangout in the browser tab here and not lose focus, but when I first started the app I selected a file in the 'Name' frame of the 'Files' tab and witnessed the behavior then. The file was highlighted in purple, the cursor changed brielfy to have an hourglass beside it, then back to normal and the 'Name' frame had lost focus, the file selection was gray. The focus was still within the app, though, as the title bar was still purple and not gray. It was as though I had selected the file, and then clicked in another client area... but I hadn't. Focus has been steady while typing here in the browser tab though, unlike before.

        > 2.0.13.243
Excellent. Menu 'Options->Check for Update' reports Product and file version, too ;)

        > First launch
        ok.

        > Select a file in the 'Name' frame inside the 'Files' tab
        Double-click ?
Popup menu : which item ?
        Which file ?
Was it a network file (smb) ?

        > The file was highlighted in purple,
This is a standard file listview ; like the one in your Windows Explorer, right ?

        > ...the 'Name' frame had lost focus, the file selection was gray
        Which file ?
Which program is launched with its extension ?
Could you post that file ?

        > ...The focus was still within the app
This means that Dev-PHP itself loaded that file inside its first Editor-Tab and gave it the focus.
What happens if you try to load a second file, say index.php ?

In order to fix that bug, we need to reproduce the exact sequence of events. For the moment i'm afraid we cannot  :-[

        Sincerely,
        Pierre.
