Yep. I've tried running as administrator still can't. Even logging into the locked superuser account with a hack and it doesn't see them.
Interestingly though, I tried creating some folders and they appeared in the tree. I made them hidden and they stayed in the tree and they would expand and i could see their contents as normal, but when i restarted dev-php they didn't appear.
Thanks
Rob

Unbelievable. This program is starting to act like a human being :-D
Seriously,
1- If the folder is already hidden, then Dev-PHP can't see it.
2- Changing the status of a visible folder to hidden doesn't matter while Dev-PHP is running.
Well, this could be an option inside ms-explorer.
Menu Tools -> Options... -> Display (2nd tab)
The radio button "Do not display hidden files and folders" should be on.
At least, this worked for me. Best regards,
Pierre.

Sorry about that.
This one must be off in order to display hidden files.
I had assumed that the button was active and that it was causing the issue.

wasn't think ing what i was writing. To confirm, hidden files & folders are and always have been visible everywhere except in the dev-php project tree.

I can't see hidden folders and files in the project tree. is there any way to enable this?
Thanks
Hi,
> I can't see hidden folders and files in the project tree.
At first glance, I would say that this is a problem of rights from ms-windows
Can you see such folders and files via the ms-explorer ?
Thanks for your report,
Pierre.

Next question: which version of Windows are you running?
This question helped me to explore... the ms-explorer path ;)
Thanks, Frédéric.

Windows version - x64 Vista, sorry, shouldv'e mentioned that sooner. Do Not Display Hidden files and Folders is turned on.
Another thing I should mention, I can see them in Open File dialogues etc, just not in the tree.

Hello Rob,
I'm so sorry and incredibly stupid. :-[
Here is an experimental version which fixes this bug
http://devphp2.free.fr/files/devphp.exe [ 1,248,768 B ]
with the installer
http://devphp2.free.fr/files/devphp2_nsis.exe [ 1,587,705 B ]
Please, forgive me.
Best regards,
Pierre.
Hello Pierre,
You don't have to apologise. It's easy to get mixed up in double negatives with binary options.
That fix seems to have worked a treat, thanks for your prompt attention.
Kind Regards
Robert
