The main reason I've been trying to use Dev-PHP is for the FTP functionality, but it will not work when I try to use it. I've tried fresh installs of 2.1.2.288 and 2.0.275 and I go straight to setting up the ftp, but I always get the same error. I set up the ftp and try the test, and it logs in correctly and displays the contents of the folder. But when I go to the FTP folder, I get this error:
"Access violation at address 0075DDBE in module 'devphp.exe'. Read of address 00000000."
If I try to connect, it does nothing and nothing shows up on the screen. Down at the bottom of the program, it says FTP connection established. But towards the top to the far left of the connect button, it says "not connected". Every time I go to the FTP tab, I always get the same access violation error. Any idea on how to fix this?

One month ago, dt30 reported bugs about the ftp feature :
1- access violation at address 0075DF5B
2- seems sluggish
3- mouse cursor is an hourglass even when not transferring
4- switching between projects doesn't reset ftp context
5- badly syncs local and remote folders
6- possibly memory leaks
