> Linux/Mac is very badly lacking a good PHP IDE
You're welcome - many thanks (I dreamt that you were talking about Dev-PHP :)
> would be really nice if a port could be developed for linux and or mac os x
Of course, and Delphi/Kylix is supposed to help. However, in my opinion it won't be easy
(Menu Help » About Dev-PHP...)
- Versionning Systems : Dev-PHP relies on Tortoise (cvs or svn) which is based upon msExplorer.
- Components : Dev-PHP is using windows-only components, although these components are supposed to not use windows api.
o VirtualTreeView (Mike Lischke) and VirtualShellTools (Jim Kueneman)
o Toolbar2000 (Jordan Russell) and TBX (Alex A.Denisov)
o Indy (Chad Z. Hower)
Linux/Mac is very badly lacking a good PHP IDE and it would be really nice if a port could be developed for linux and or mac os x.

May be someone at Lazarus project could have ported these...

Last -even if it's not a port- there are emulators like : Mono, WineHQ, VMware, ...
Best greetings,
Pierre.
