after the 'web site found. waiting for reply...' message, i get either a 'page cannot be displayed' or an 'action canceled'. every answer to this problem i found on this forum resorts to checking the paths... well, they all point to their respective files. i've tried locations with and without spaces, as someone said, at the root and deeper in the directory tree. also php 4 and 5. also several versions of the ide (i think i'll stick with the latest, however). also toggling the firewall. some experienced that it works only while online, but that is not my case. it just does not work.
and btw, let me point out other 3 bugs that happen (at least to me), in case they are somehow related:
- the documentation tab does not work, and throws this error message: 'zugriffsverletzung bei adresse 00545edb in modul 'devphp.exe'. lesen von adresse ffffffff.' (i think it translates to an 'access violation' error).
- regardless of what the php.ini path option says, the 'edit php.ini' command always looks in the php directory. i discovered this while testing with php 4 standalone to solve my above problem.
- in the editor, no matter what file tab is right-clicked to close, it always closes the open/active/displayed file. ok, i really don't think this one is actually related, but...
this app looks promisingly good. i would like to use it, so i'm hoping that someone could help me.
