Appreciate your efforts very much. Your program has been a delight. Been curious about capability to ftp to remote locations in addition to saving changed files to a local drive. I find most of my php files come from and end up on a remote Unix box. It would be kinda cool if a feature existed to ftp import or export directly to the server. Maybe setup in preferences the ftp username/password, address and directory, and the rest takes care of itself.
Just a thought. Wanted to run it by you and see what you think.

I have implemented the ftp-client in your sense. The only thing to do is for Leonardo Garcia to have a pro or enterprise version from delphi then he can publish the new version with the new features local Webserver and ftp-client. I think i'ts coming soon.

Here's the problem.. the FTP client was going to be in version 2, but there have been some problems and it's development is currently stopped.
Until i solve these problems (some of them are hard-to-fix bugs and some of them are personal stuff), you can download the latest CVS alpha (which still doesn't have the FTP client) and, if you know Delphi, you can try to fix the bugs it has or implement any feature you want.

what im actually doing right now is i mount my webserver using samaba, and from there i edit my codes.
and reload via browser.
just, do hope a CLOSE ALL command on file, will be added like on editpad. because if i open a lot of files tendency is i have to close the app and open it again.

Hi,
Has this been done? I have installed (ver 1.9.4) and dont' see it anywhere.
For me it doesn't make sense to use a PHP editor without ftp support.

btw, EditPad search and replace features is nice. Maybe we should try to integrate some of it on devphp
