little BUG + Sweet little improvement

    1.) Bug:
When I open an existing phpfile (which's associated with dev-php), php-dev opens without loading file. That REALLY goes on my nerves!

I can't even drag&drop files in order to open them with dev-php which drives me crazy, really!

Probably you can fix that. (Or write me back in case I'm the only one experiencing this problem). Thank you.

    2.) Improvement:
I'd find it very practical if one could use something like [SHIFT]+[F9] to execute the file one's working on directly (Browser). In case of an error the little window one calls with [F9] would pop-up (additionally to the browser) and analyze the errors as usual.
I think that little function would improve usability a lot!

PS: Sorry for my bad English, I'm German... .

i'm working on adding an integrated browser to Dev-PHP for version 2.0.0 so the shortcut won't be needed.
About the loading problem, i haven't seen it so i can't do anything to solve it.
      Cya!

Oh that sounds cool, be sure to make it so that you can hide the integrated browser and make sure that it saves the view settings for the next time you open it.. i have a problem with that where in the current release when i hide toolbars they show up again when i restart devphp but in the view menu they are unchecked

it would be nice if there was a place where you can switch from code to visual gui as well for those that are not that good with code. something like dreamweavermx does or visual php studio.

I am new and would like to use php but I am having complications cause I am not that good with php code, I know basics but I need more understanding and the devphp is wonderful but I think from a newby it is still a little complex.

is there a manul for this?

      please let  me know

Hey, I've got the problem with "open the files by clicking on them", too.
And I'm german, too. Propably it's our language. :D

Drag and drop seems to work if you have already open file in the editor window. But you cannot drag and drop if there are no open files i.e. to the gray area?! (V2.0.0 - Bet 6, Win XP)

        Hi jonkke

I have this moment implemented the new feature. In version Beta 7 you can drop Files on the grey pad.
