[Devmon] SNMP v1

I have a device (eaton UPS) that supports snmp v1 or v3, no v2c....

My spec file is set to snmp v1, and the host is discovered, but I get no good data back (and I'm only trying to get the sysDescr back to start, nothing vendor specific). 

snmpwalking or snmpget for basic stuff like uptime, sysname, syslocation, are all good. 

So I'm wondering, is devmon discovering with v1 but polling with v2 ?
