Curious.  What chassis type & generation are the servers you are
monitoring?
We are using HP ProLiant DL360/80 and a few ML380s.  We've had it
running on G2 Proliants and upwards.

Another question:  How do you have hpasm configured? =20
Our configuration:
  No kernel tainting
  Enable snmp monitoring
  Enable storage monitoring
  Enable performance monitoring
  Disable hpsmh (shouldn't matter, but...)

The only option that seems like it would really matter to me is the
storage monitoring, and that seems like it would either be a "it works
or it doesn't" deal, not a half-works kind of deal.

I was runung against hpasm-7.5.1-8.rhel4

But I upgraded a dev box to 7.8 (hpasm-7.8.0-88.rhel4), and that has the
same=20
problem for me (and same solution).
