What did you try? I do not understand what were you trying to do? And
maybe can I help since I am still testing Devmon and regex within it.

I have had this problem also. If I specify Fa0/[45-48] it hangs witht=20
the error

changing the bb-hosts file to Fa0/4[5-8] works however.
