[Devmon] Performances over huge networks

Hello all,

 

I have a question about Devmon performances on huge networks. I saw in the
config file that there were a lot of different times and interval to
configure. I understood pretty well what they mean but I have no really
ideas of how they could influence the Devmon behavior on polling. The point
is that I want to get the data from my pollings just in time so that the
tests do not turn red or white. Another point would be to save resource on
the device running Devmon and also not to have too long polling time.

 

The idea is to collect date about your configurations a brief description of
your network type and the reasons of your choices so that beginners like me
can set up their mind about their most comfortable configurations.
