Some times... I run into the same thing.... This only happens on switches/routers when the CPU is at like 70% plus and it gets a SNMP request from the server... It rarely happens manually with snmpget command, but I was able to replicate the error while doing an snmpget... let me know what you find.. I adjusted some of the timeout settings in devmon to allow more time for the device to respond... thanks, michael Michael A.
