Insanity reigns! Yay! This is almost certainly a counter-wrap bug. What version of devmon are you using, and could you please tell me the size of your modules/dm_tests.pm file? I believe the "latest and greatest" has as file size of 66279. I also had to update many of the templates to fix this=20 counter-wrap bug (if_err, if_dsc and if_load, specifically). Check to make sure you are doing the DELTA transform on un-transformed data (i.e. ifInOctets and not ifInBits). If you aren't, then you can either download the latest tarball from sourceforge and get the fixed templates from there, or edit them by hand (in case you made changes that you want to preserve). There was an email a yesterday (titled 'RE: [Devmon] Beta 0.1.1 incorrect load reported') that covered the specifics of who, what, when, where and whys of this whole thing. Sorry for the insanity :) -Eric > -----Original Message----- > From: dev...@li...=20 > [mailto:dev...@li...] On Behalf=20 > Of Dan Vande More > Sent: Thursday, March 02, 2006 11:33 AM > To: dev...@li... > Subject: [Devmon] insane if_load causing infecting me with insanity! >=20 > I've got devmon working fairly well, except I'm having some issues > with what appears to be just 7609/Cisco GSRs. >=20 > They are interconnected two each other via a 1gbps fibre link, and > their interfaces often go red with devmon, and show the following: >=20 > Gi2/2 [L3 conn to 7609-2] 1.00 Gbps green 99.71=20 > Mbps (0.10%) red > 323627.09 Tbps (323627088.71%) >=20 > Whoa!
