How was it difficult to find? If users who create templates don't share them via 
the methods I propose, please consider proposing some other means. I am aware 
of a few additional templates, that I have developed, for my own purposes, 
which are not in svn or on the tracker, because I haven't had the time to do 
so, but if others don't share their templates, I can't make them do so ...

I personally detest abusing a wiki for files to be distributed which can be 
done more efficiently by VCS tools.

Effort duplication is evil. If you have time to assist in 
collecting/testing/committing templates, I can give you svn commit access. 
But, I don't have time to do things twice (sometimes let alone once).

Devmon and Xymon are not one and the same ... I see no reason to change things

So, why didn't one of the three of you:
-Log an item on the tracker and attach the template
-Commit the template to svn
?
