Hi Sir,
Thanks a tons.
Your steps helped. devmon PID spawned and file devmon.pid is created.
-bash-3.00# mkdir /var/run/devmon
-bash-3.00# chown devmon /var/run/devmon/
-bash-3.00# cd /usr/local/devmon
-bash-3.00# ./devmon
