Hello, I've only got about a week of working with devmon in my free time at work, so I'm relatively new at this. I'm trying to make a template to get environmental information off our data center environmental sensors. We're using Sensatronics EM-1 sensors. So if anyone has a working template I'd love it. I can successfully pull all the data I want off the sensors. My problem is this. Every sensor unit can support up to four probes. Depending on the data center we're using between one and three probes. The probes not in use all return values of -999.9. I would like to ignore tests on all probes all probes with a value -999.9. In a best case they simply would never appear on the xymon display, or they could display with a message indicating they aren't in use. If I put this value in the thresholds as white, or green with an error of "probe not in use" they still come up as red because the value (-999.9) are lower than the minimum temp/humidity/wetness for the room. I understand that this is what is supposed to happen as the threshold file matches highest severity first . It is my understanding that I can't use the exceptions file because the data isn't in a "repeater type data alias". Is there some way around this problem? I'd be happy to provide more information.
