[Devmon] devmon going purple

Is there any news on the devmon going purple issue? I'm now seeing it after I 
upgraded my server from SUSE 10.1 to SUSE 11.0 which includes a perl upgrade 
from 5.8.8 to 5.10.0. Before the upgrade it was rock-solid. Could the perl 
version be the issue?
