[Devmon] Purple messages

I am also seeing purple reporting to hobbit. I had to implement a script
to search for the hung process and pkill and restart the devmon process.
I also tried upgrading to the new version of devmon and it's still doing
the same. I remember reading about a memory leak and was wondering why
that was skipped over in the new release?
