The changes in this release are as follows:
Support was added for Multiple-STP, rapid-SPT, OLSR, per-VLAN spanning
tree and per-VLAN rapid spanning tree, the Cisco proprietary "dynamic
trunking protocol", and the Cisco proprietary VTP protocol. Support
for a range of protocol extensions was added. Bugs in several
protocol parsers were fixed.

Project description:
Tcpdump allows you to dump the traffic on a network. It can be used to
print out the headers of packets on a network interface that matches a
given expression. You can use this tool to track down network
problems, to detect "ping attacks" or to monitor the network
activities.
