This email is to inform you about the release of version '2.4.3' of 'amavisd-new' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/amavisd-new/ The changes in this release are as follows: This release polishes a few rough corners in compatibility with DomainKeys and DKIM mail signing and verification. It fixes a bug in LMTP code that failed to suppress some undesired bounces. It provides compatibility with sa-update older than 3.1.5. The order of attributes in AM.PDP protocol has been changed, and a new attribute is used to ensure header fields are prepended instead of being appended in a milter setup. Header checks are enhanced with checking for missing or duplicate header fields. Inserting the spam score into a modified subject is possible. This release allows for reducing bounces selectively by sending domain. Release focus: 7 - Major bugfixes Project added: Sat, Jun 28th 2003 15:44 (3 years, 3 months ago) Project description: amavisd-new is a high-performance and reliable interface between MTAs and one or more content checkers, including virus scanners, and/or the Mail::SpamAssassin Perl module. It talks to an MTA via (E)SMTP or LMTP, or by using helper programs. No timing gaps exist in the design, which could cause a mail loss. It is normally positioned at or near a central mailer, not necessarily where the user's mailboxes and final delivery takes place.
