Udo, Sorry for the late response. I'm not sure about the issues with the login. We really didn't do any major changes except software updates. Are you using LDAP or something like that, or do you only use local accounts & groups? I haven't found any issues with my upgrades, but I got everything local. When you select "n" during the upgrade, it will load the old config and execute everything that's set there. So I assume it was working as designed (unless I misunderstood you).
