Sorry for the late answer. 
You were right, drivers e1000, e1000e and igb comes with the kernel.
In fact the link issue was due to some problem concerning auto configuration
of Ethernet link. Configuring each extremity in manual have successfully
solved the problem.
Anyway, a note to update the drivers is welcome.

Do the modules e1000 or e1000e work?
They come with the Kernel itself and should be much more current.

I'll add a note to update the other drivers. Not sure when I'll get around
to it, since?I'm currently busy with working on DL 1.7.0 (Kernel 3.16, new
gcc, new glibc, etc.).
