Gudy, do you use the 'Recycle Bin' option for Samba (as shown on my info 
page <http://www.edendevelopments.co.uk/dlsetup.php#settingupsamba>)? If 
you do, then the Recycle Bin (inside the samba share) holds any files 
changed or deleted by Samba users. So a backup of the entire samba share 
(including the Recycle Bin) will include previous file versions and 
deleted files.
