Agreed it is a little easy to do, although at least you have to remount in
order to make any changes. I'm actually booting from a hard drive myself,
fortunately I'm the only one who has access to said server.

Of course I realise it is cheating to edit the boot disk - and the fact
that it is so easy is a warning to all who use read/write media for
booting DL. A USB stick with a physical write-lock switch (and left in
the lock position ;-) ) is advisable...
