Dear freshmeat.net subscriber, scoop just announced version 2.8.2 of Postfix on freshmeat.net. The changes are as follows: When a client disconnected and then reconnected before all DNSBL results for the earlier session arrived, DNSBL results for the earlier session would be added to the score for the later session. The SMTP client did not support mail to [ipv6:ipv6addr]. FreeBSD closefrom() was back-ported to FreeBSD 7, breaking FreeBSD 7.x support retroactively. The SUN compiler had trouble with a pointer expression of the form "("text1" "text2") + constant''. Project description: Postfix is an attempt to provide an alternative to the widely-used Sendmail program. Postfix attempts to be fast, easy to administer, and hopefully secure, while at the same time being sendmail compatible enough to not upset your users.
