barsnick just announced version 2.27.4 of GLib on freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

A nw function to return the XDG_RUNTIME_DIR, g_get_runtime_dir(), was added.
Mainloop sources can now have "child sources". GIO gained several new features.
Bugs were fixed.

GLib is a library containing many useful C routines for things such as trees,
hashes, and lists. GLib was previously distributed with the GTK toolkit, but has
been split off as of the developers' version 1.1.0.
