Dear freshmeat.net subscriber, ph10 just announced version 8.10 of PCRE on freshmeat.net. The changes are as follows: Two new features are added to the library: support for (*MARK) and friends, and the PCRE_UCP option, which makes \s, \d, \w, etc. make use of Unicode character properties instead of just matching ASCII. A new option, --line-buffered, has been added to pcregrep. As well as these upgrades, a number of bugs have been mended. Project description: The PCRE library is a set of functions that implement regular expression pattern matching using the same syntax and semantics as Perl 5, with just a few differences. PCRE is used by many programs, including Exim, Postfix, and PHP.
