Dear freshmeat.net subscriber, barsnick just announced version 2.25.5 of GLib on freshmeat.net. The changes are as follows: GDBus D-Bus support was merged, providing an API to replace dbus-glib. GVariant now requires strings to be UTF-8. GSettings now allows you to bind string properties to byte arrays. The schema compiler now supports range restrictions. Several minor bugs were fixed. Project description: GLib is a library containing many useful C routines for things such as trees, hashes, and lists. GLib was previously distributed with the GTK toolkit, but has been split off as of the developers' version 1.1.0.
