solardiz just announced version 1.41.11 of e2fsprogs on freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

Many bugs have been fixed (mostly minor or/and obscure), workarounds have been
added for issues with distribution startup scripts, support for the EOFBLOCKS_FL
flag (2.6.34+ kernels) has been added, and messages printed and the
documentation have been revised.

Project description:

The ext2fsprogs package contains essential ext2 filesystem utilities which
consists of e2fsck, mke2fs, debugfs, dumpe2fs, tune2fs, and most of the other
core ext2 filesystem utilities.
