Dear freshmeat.net subscriber, barsnick just announced version 2.23.2 of GLib on freshmeat.net. The changes are as follows: GCC builtins are now used for atomic operations when available. g_assert() gained the ability to store assertions in core dumps. Support was added to GIO for lazy loading of GIO modules. Threading was slightly modified. Several performance enhancements were made to GObject. Many bugs were fixed. Translations were updated. Project description: GLib is a library containing many useful C routines for things such as trees, hashes, and lists. GLib was previously distributed with the GTK toolkit, but has been split off as of the developers' version 1.1.0.
