Dear freshmeat.net subscriber, barsnick just announced version 3.1.5 of PCI Utilities on freshmeat.net. The changes are as follows: Unaligned access errors when scanning extended capabilities on broken hardware are now avoided by masking the reserved bits. Large bar sizes are now displayed in human-readable format with units. The display of physical slot information was fixed for multi-function cards. Other minor fixes were made. Project description: The PCI Utilities package contains various utilities dealing with the PCI bus, and also a library for portable access to PCI configuration registers. It includes `lspci' for listing all PCI devices (very useful for debugging of both kernel and device drivers) and `setpci' for manual configuration of PCI devices.
