ph10 just announced version 8.01 of PCRE on freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

Several bugs in the code are mended, and some problems and infelicities in the
build system have been tidied up.

Project description:

The PCRE library is a set of functions that implement regular expression pattern
matching using the same syntax and semantics as Perl 5, with just a few
differences. PCRE is used by many programs, including Exim, Postfix, and PHP.
