Hi all,

as far as I can see, neither lcd4linux nor LCDproc is actively
maintained.....

It's a pity because I have +- 40 NexCom appliances sporting such a
Display with a 4 button keypad (up, down, enter, escape). The display is
supported, the buttons are not...

I talked this over with a colleague, whether it were worthwile to dig
into this and provide some functionality to local admins via this
interface.... we came to the conclusion that we'd rather develop some
kind of shell application if need be....
