No I didn't see that, but that's not good for me... Is there another
LCD program?

I did see parport, but when I aliased it as /dev/parport/0, lcd4linux
still complained. It works with the hex code though, so I guess we'll
just stick to 1.4RC1 until I find another way to use the LCD screen.
