theres no need to buy a fan less box, just remove the fans you have, and drill extra holes all round. your power supply will always need a fan. i have a large tower case with a cooler master hyperz600 (any cpu cooler > 800g is a good cooler) which sits next to the power supply fan. i find a large case is cooler than a small one. on the top i have cut out holes and placed metal mesh on the top. i replaced the side door with metal mesh. i use a compact flash drive instead of a hard drive and i dont use a cd-rom drive, all that stuff is in another computer in the garage. the front of the case has everything removed and is covered with metal mesh, so the whole case breathes and the only fan is on the power supply which is pretty quiet. theres no really 100% fanless system unless you use a thin client which has no pci slots _________________________________________________________________ Search jobs from NZ's #1 job site 1000s of jobs online right now! http://clk.atdmt.com/NMN/go/157639089/direct/01/ |
