glennrp just announced version 1.2.38 of libpng on freshmeat.net.

The changes are as follows:

The license declarations were revised to mention the "libpng license". The
configuration files were rebuilt with autoconf-2.63. Some "#ifdef's" were
revised to separate unknown chunk support from png_set_keep_unknown_chunks()
support because the latter is useful in its own right for ignoring known but
unused chunks.

Project description:

libpng (PNG library) is a collection of routines used 
to create and manipulate PNG format graphics files. 
The PNG format was designed as a replacement for 
GIF and, to a lesser extent, TIFF, with many 
improvements and extensions.
