Like Geir, I could not get 1.2.x versions of DL to work with my gigabit 
card, but I can confirm, for the record, that the newly-released 1.4RC1 
(like the beta 1.3 versions that preceded it) works well with r8169 
module and D-Link System Inc DGE-528T Gigabit Ethernet Adapter (rev 10).
