Dear freshmeat.net subscriber, ph10 just announced version 7.9 of PCRE on freshmeat.net. The changes are as follows: A number of bugs and untidinesses have been fixed. One or two small functional additions have been made, including the ability to set UTF-8 mode from within the pattern. Project description: The PCRE library is a set of functions that implement regular expression pattern matching using the same syntax and semantics as Perl 5, with just a few differences. PCRE is used by many programs, including Exim, Postfix, and PHP.
