I have a newer 1.3 version in the works, which includes samba 3.3.3. Unfortunately I'm still fighting with the 2.6.29 Kernel. Once everything is worked out I'll upload a new version. I am not sure specifically what caused it (perhaps Samba bug 6186, fixed in Samba 3.3.3), but returning to the previous version of DL (with Samba 3.0.32) gets it working again okay. BTW I love how easy it is to regress with DL: poweroff, pull out current USB drive, put in previous USB drive, restart.
