You can (fairly) easily add software to DL.
Take a look at our documentation on the website on how to compile your own
version, that's where you'll have to start. Then you'll have to fight your
way through figuring out how we do things and then add your own stuff.
Please sign up on the developer mailinglist if you have any questions
related to building/customizing DL.

Hi all,
Firstly can I just say, what a fantastic piece of software Devil-Linux 
is. I just love the way it just works. Now the reason I'm mailing the 
list is I want to ask if there is any way of adding a torrent client to 
the OS?? The other thing I'm wondering is, is there any way of adding 
Mplayer to the distro, not because I want to watch any thing, but 
because I've found the great script written by Phil Lewis that allows 
you to download things from BBC IPlayer and ITV CatchUp but the problem 
is that to get the ITV content it has to use Mplayer, hence my problem.
