Thanks for all the help... the only change I had to make was when I was setting up the logical volumes I had to change mkfs.reiserfs /dev/devil-linux/home to mke2fs -j /dev/devil-linux/home because for some reason it did not want to mount the /home directory otherwise. Everything is now running smoothly, all my boxes talk to each other without fighting. The next project is to set up VLC and the proper drivers for my video card so I can play movies directly on my tv with s-video out.
