Lincoln: Just to help us understand, at what point do you get this problem? Can you type 'root' at the login prompt? Can you get logged in? Could it be a physical problem with your keyboard? Do you have another keyboard you could try? Is it a standard keyboard and/or did you set the keyboard type correctly in DL Setup? Is the keyboard plugged in correctly? :-) Is it USB keyboard? I have never tried USB keyboard with DL, I guess it should work fine but if you have PS/2 keyboard it would be worth trying that... Alternatively, can you login remotely? If you chose to include SSHD in Setup/Services, and set up your ethernet card correctly, you should be able to log in remotely over a network - you would have to find out the ip address, your router's configuration web page can probably help with this.
