Quoting "Fred Frigerio" <ffr...@lo...>: > I am having a problem with postfix wanting to have a /var/lib/postfix > directory that is missing from the ISO. Postfix keeps a master.lock file > there. That is blocking postfix starting up. Creating the directory with > postfix:root access solves the problem. Maybe on your next build you can > check and add it to the bootcd.iso? I'm out of the country right now (back in Germany for a visit) and can't access my build box. We have 2 options to resolve this: 1) just create the /var/lib/postfix , but I'm not sure what else is being saved there and if it needs to survive a reboot if it's a mail server. 2) there's a postfix data_dir (or something like that) setting we could point to /var/spool/postfix, which may be mounted on a disk. Could one of the guys with CVS write access take care of this please? -- Regards Heiko Zuerker http://www.devil-linux.org ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program. |
