This email is to inform you about the release of version '4.2.4p5' of 'NTP'

The changes in this release are as follows:
This release fixes a number of Windows-specific ntpd bugs and
platform-independent ntpdate bugs. A logging bugfix has been applied
to the ONCORE driver. The "dynamic" keyword is now obsolete and
deferred binding to local interfaces is the new default. The minimum
time restriction for the interface update interval has been dropped. A
number of minor build system and documentation fixes are included.
This is a recommended upgrade for Windows.

Project description:
The Network Time Protocol (NTP) is used to synchronize the time of a
computer client or server to another server or reference time source,
such as a radio or satellite receiver or modem. It provides client
accuracies typically within a millisecond on LANs and up to a few tens
of milliseconds on WANs relative to a primary server synchronized to
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) via a Global Positioning Service
(GPS) receiver, for example.
