This email is to inform you about the release of version '5.4.1.1' of

The changes in this release are as follows:
An issue has arisen with the SNMPv3 code that implements the
authentication within SNMPv3. It affects all released versions of both
UCD-SNMP and Net-SNMP, and the project has just released multiple
versions of the code base to support easy upgrades/fixes for its
users.

Project description:
The NET-SNMP (formerly UCD-SNMP) package contains various tools
relating to the Simple Network Management Protocol including an
extensible agent, an SNMP library, tools to request or set information
from SNMP agents, tools to generate and handle SNMP traps, a version
of the unix 'netstat' command using SNMP and a Tk/perl mib browser. It
was originally based on the Carnegie Mellon University SNMP
implementation (version 2.1.2.1), but has been greatly enhanced,
ported and fixed and barely resembles the original package anymore.
