The changes in this release are as follows:
The primary new feature of this release is support for hierarchical
submenus in the simple menu system. In addition to that, this release
eliminates a lot of hardcoded limitations, such as the maximum number
of labels, which are now only limited by memory, and the length of
the command line. Furthermore, this release fixes the graphical
display on systems which do not support the linear framebuffer option
in the VESA BIOS.

Project description:
SYSLINUX is a collection of boot loaders for the Linux operating
system which operates on Linux EXT2/EXT3 filesystems, MS-DOS FAT
filesystems, network servers using PXE firmware, or from CD-ROMs.
SYSLINUX has an advanced extension API and contains two optional menu
systems. It also includes MEMDISK, a tool for booting legacy operating
systems from non-traditional media like PXE or CD-ROM.
