Hi,

you can try to custom-buid the DL 1.3.4 with kernel 2.6

just disable the debuglogging in menuconfig - Build-Settings

there will be some "questions" on make build running prepare regarding =
some kernel-settings depending on your config
just answer the default on that and the build-process will continue

also you have to replace the sysllinux package in src by version .36 to =
get things running
and also the ncftp in the client-tools schould be disabled

make sure you do no parallel build-jobs since this isn't supported also.

i have not yet build samba - since i don't need it in my config but you =
can give it a chance
