[Devil-Linux-discuss] Dell Inspiron 510M eth0 not loading

I have installed DL 1.2.11-i486 on my Dell Inspiron 510M, run from
CDRom, with USB pendrive for config. That all works OK, but the eth0
driver module is not installed - which renders the system useless. The
setup script gives me a module name PO80211 or similar module, and I
set that to load, reboot, but no eth0. ifconfig confirms only loopback
installed. Any ideas as how to fix ?

and , how can I save the boot messages on startup ? Are they logged
somewhere ? I set kenel logging to 7, but no after boot log found.
