[Devil-Linux-discuss] SQUID LDAP authentication

I=92m trying to let squid works using LDAP authentication (Devil Linux 1.=
2.11 distribution). After several trials with squid configuration file, e=
xecuting squid =96v I discovered that no LDAP helpers was enabled. So I d=
ecided to rebuild a new distribution to include also that helpers. I prep=
ared the whole environment for building (checked out rel-1-2-patches) and=
 taking a look to squid script under build/scripts directory I noticed th=
at it needs of CONFIG_LDAP=3Dy in the build configuration file. So, after=
 make unpack, I executed make menuconfig. I didn=92t touch anything and s=
aved the default configuration. Unfortunately, I discovered that CONFIG_L=
DAP was not included in the configuration file. Executing make menuconfig=
 again I can=92t find any configuration item that set it. Even if I can s=
et it manually, I want to know if there is something broken or missing.
